Jane's adventures
This blog is about my travels. At home in New Zealand, in other parts of Oceania, North, Central and South America and in Europe.
![]() While I have been in Wisconsin I have been able to experience a genuine white Christmas. So far it has gotten down to -28˚C. The lakes here have frozen over and the snow is so soft and powdery and it looks like icing sugar. It just looks so magical when it snows here. A lot of the first settlers in the midwest were from Germany and for this reason they have german markets at Christmas time. People decorate their houses with christmas lights a lot here and they look so beautiful in the snow. Its still not too cold to go for walks and its possible to see families of white tailed deer in the woods.
